This review is for the Nintendo Switch version

There are just three kinds of people who can be interested in a game like this:

  • Those who feel nostalgia because they played it as kids
  • Those interested in video game history
  • Those curious about old, retro games

I'm kinda surprised about how much the first two Double Dragon and River City Ransom hold up. I'm having a lot of fun with those. But Double Dragon III is frustrating as fuck, Renegade is irrelevant because of the better games in the collection and the sport games feel uncontrollable.

Also fun: comparing the changes made to the american versions because there's no concept equivalente to the 'bancho' in there (I guess).

Just got this for review and... how do you even review a compilation of so many games!?

This is gonna be an interesting challenge.

Also, there are not really 18 games, some of those are duplicated (JAP/USA versions).
