Another Very Impressive Arcade Game From '82

Look: 9/10 Definitely a fan of the colors. I love this dark night, desert theme, with the pyramid. enter image description here

Also, wow the sprites are super well-developed for the year (tho so far '82 seems to be a big boost in graphics from the prior years) enter image description here

Wow, really cool sorta "level select" map too, giving me Abe's Odyssey/Exodus feel a bit. enter image description here

Sound: 7/10 Great crunch sounds, great laser-esque sound effects, if only there were like a mysterious or desert-esque mysterious "song" to it.

Play: 8/10 Wow, '82 really modernized games. This is impressive. I am not a big fan of dual joystick controls, but this one pulls it off quite well. Very responsive controls once I got used to it. Almost too many buttons for my usual taste, and it makes me afraid for upcoming games getting more and more convoluted. Really cool to see a demonstration of how to play the game at the start. Tho for the most part it was intuitive. I have really been impressed with arcade games of '82 so far. The shooting is super fast but with a logical and well-balanced reload concept. It was cool to have sorta a larger world as you go through the rooms deeper and deeper.

Feel: 9/10 So, it's sort of an Abe's Odyssey adventure with dungeon crawl aspects and dual joystick multidirectional shooter action-adventure I mean, it's just wild and unique for real. Once I got the dual joystick controls down, I was having a blast with this fast-paced shooter. I love the texts as you start each Room, transition, etc. Very unique, very interesting, and very well-done.

Attachment: 9/10 I definitely will be replaying this, and because it's a genre of arcade games I could see myself returning to, plus it feeling like the roots of later action-adventure games with dungeon crawler aspects, I gave this a little boost. I want to replay this for sure to see if I can get further.
