Super Early Arcade Adventure Game! A Bit Clunky Gameplay, But Worth A Try!
Look: 8/10 Incredibly basic but still has a cute quality to them. I love the look and the colors of the rooms. Oh, and I especially love the treasures list graphic

Play: 7/10 Controls in the rooms are a bit clunky but still really fun and achieved its concept. Definitely could have benefited from different rooms when get to deeper dungeons but still love seeing an adventure game put into an arcade style action/berzerk shooter game (albeit a bit clunky and sloppy in the action parts in the rooms). Plus, gotta love collecting treasures. I pushed through and got quite far in the game, despite the repetitiveness of the rooms eventually!
Feel: 9/10 I gave a little boost for the concept of having an adventure on an arcade game this early! Basically a rudimentary action-adventure tbh. I'm a sucker for this concept: I love that you're collecting treasures from different rooms, and there's "corridor" screens (well, Hall, but still) that remind me of the PLATO RPGs etc. I wish there were a version or difficulty option where a Hallmonster doesn't come into a room after a certain amount of time or if could level up/upgrade so can take more hits etc. Oh, and I love the music!!
Attachment: 8/10 Huge precedent for fantasy action adventure, a genre I am excited to see come up more and more in my chronology project! I definitely will show this to others interested in fantasy adventure games, tho I can't claim this will be a game I definitely replay regularly. It had such potential, and due to its limitations, I can't claim a favorite: but imagining with more functionality, with shooting and control of the melee attacks etc, this could have been a definite favorite.
