Played on Normal but could not stand to play very far. Played on Normal but could not stand to play very far. I enjoyed the second level with its mining through dirt mechanics but the part after that where you have to bounce dogs and bombs is a prime example of the experimental game mechanics that caused me to not like the original Earthworm Jim. I barely scraped past the first 3 rounds by abusing save states hard. When round 4 came I felt this mechanic had already long outlived its novelty and turned the game off. Done with this game.
