The Star Wars Saga continues with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, the highly anticipated sequel to the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever created, which has sold more than seven million copies worldwide. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the world was introduced to Darth Vader’s now fugitive apprentice, Starkiller — the unlikely hero who would ignite the flames of rebellion in a galaxy so desperately in need of a champion. In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader — but instead of training his protégée as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on — Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller. With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars movies — all in his desperate search for answers to his past. Getting this game to work on PC was a royal pain, but the actual gameplay was a lot of fun! I just wish that it was longer than it was... there was basically three different environments total.

I bought this game on sale from xbox marketplace at the same time as I bought the first game, again after playing and liking the demo. This game is much better than the first, fixing most of the gameplay problems. I beat on Hard without anywhere near the cheap difficulty of the first game. I used mostly the same strategies I used in the first game; force lighting and/or force grip whenever possible, followed by melee with lots of dashing and alternately mashing X and Y.

I maxed out force lighting first, then lightsaber, followed by repulse. For most of the game I used dual orange lightsabers for bonus xp from destroying the environment, and you bet I destroyed every little thing to milk as much xp as possible. Later I found a white one (which boosts enemy xp), so I would switch between that and orange depending on what I was destroying. Near the end I started to use black (disintegration) and yellow (lighting) to burn down the hard enemies. For the final boss, I switched black for life drain green, and I could fill up my entire health bar in seconds. Life drain is awesome.

This game was way ahead of its time, its STILL way ahead of its time. The combat system is perfected, the lightsabers actually cut through things like a lightsaber should ( Contrary to any star wars games before and or after this game) and if neither of those things blow your mind, using the force to move an entire star destroy just might. My only complaint about the story was that it was way too short, I wanted more, and the realization that there wasn't gonna be another force unleashed game (CURSE YOU DISNEY, YOUR JUST JEALOUS THIS GAME WAS AWESOME AND THAT'S WHY YOU MADE IT NON-CANON) made me curl up and die inside.... while replaying it over and over. I would recommend this game to ages 13 and older, as it is a dark star wars game, so cutting all sorts of body parts off storm troopers is quite common, among other things. But it is star wars, so there's no blood or gore, if that makes it any better.
