A decent start for the series, although the gameplay can get really repetitive and boring (those endless waves of enemies screaming SHOOT TO KILL!!... yeesh). A decent start for the series, although the gameplay can get really repetitive and boring (those endless waves of enemies screaming SHOOT TO KILL!!... yeesh). The characters and their respective voice actors are top notch, they really give the game this thrilling movie feeling that is unique to the franchise. I love the locations and the fact that the whole story takes place on an island, although I could have lived without some sections. Also liked the supernatural elements (I wasn't ready for those horror chapters in the generator room though..). The boss fight was disappointing.

Overall an okay game. Would definitely recommend if you're planning to play the whole franchise.

A solid opening to the Nathan Drake Collection, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune overall is a fun run n gun action adventure experience with a charismatic cast of action movie tropes. The story in this instalment is quite vanilla though and the final show down in particular was unsatisfying for me.

Finally sat down and finished the game. There were a few game mechanics I hope to see improved in the next game, but overall a solid title. Will probably work on getting a few more trophies over the next few days as I set to work playing other games.

Okay, so I spoke too soon. NOW I think I have completed the dreaded jet ski section and, yeah, who thought this was a good idea? Still got through it without too much fit throwing, but it was still one of the worst gameplay elements thus far. Fingers crossed that we are done with that!

Just gotten through the dreaded jet ski sections that everyone has been talking about. Not as bad as I thought it would be once I had a good strategy in place. Slow and steady is definitely the way to go!

Think I'm around the halfway mark now and still 100% invested in the game. Can't wait to see how things turn out in this back half for Nathan and Elena.

Also, is there anything Nolan North can't do? He elevates every game he is in, I swear!

When I bought my PS4, Uncharted 4 came bundled with it. However, I'd yet to play the first three games in the series, so I decided it was high time I rectify that. Nearly a year later, I'm finally giving it a go. Thoroughly enjoying it so far and loving how well the graphics have held up since 2007.

people call Uncharted 1 a "monstrosity",............. hhmmm i really enjoyed it, even the frustrating gun-fights, so i conclude that Uncharted 2 and 3 will be masterpieces

I'm not a fan of adventure games but this one was something big on the PS3. Awesome graphics and a very interesting story got me from the start. I played on easy level though, I just wanted to know what will happen next. Good game!

So. Much.Shooting. I'm more of a puzzle-solving kind of girl. Just spent fifteen minutes killing off bad guys in one location, but they just keep coming. What's going on?

I heard some crap about the jet ski part. I didn't think it was that bad. Thought it would be more racing and jumping instead of parking and firing but oh well. Fun either way.

Took me 10 years but I finally got a PS3 today! I was contemplating getting one for awhile. One of the first games I played was Uncharted. Its fantastic. Graphics are vibrant story is engaging. This is my first experience with wireless controllers! Very happy about my new console.
