Fun but gets tiring in the second half.
Once you get your army and main abilities of your class figured out the battles become pretty trivial.
That being said I enjoyed the quirky writing style and humor and the map exploration Encountering and recruiting new units is also fun early on, but becomes a bit of a chore later once you've built up an army that prefers certain unit types.
