Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix (2013)

After a few days of struggle, I finally beat Riku THANK GOODNESS. Oh my gosh that fight was so hard. Even leveling up and getting a special keyblade I still had challenges. Unfortunately there are more boss fights to be had. I'm trying to find my way back through Hollow Bastion to fight the Behemoth. This seems like it shouldn't be this hard to get back to where I need to go but I guess it is?

Also it was kinda fun when I briefly turned into a heartless but it was annoying I couldn't use a save point. C'mon!! I want to save my game so that I don't lose the progress on the boss I worked so hard to beat.

I’m 85% of the way through the game I think, based on the walkthrough I’m using... and not counting sidequests. Man, these bosses are hard though. I just beat Malificient And Dragon Malificient but now I’m up to Evil Riku and it’s a lot of dying.

I’m over the menu system. I can’t count how many times I’ve died in the middle of healing because I didn’t push enough buttons in the right time and a boss killed me in the meantime. Many profanities were uttered.

I’m almost ready to just throw in the towel and watch the ending on YouTube but I’ve come this far.. I guess I got to finish it. At least the story is good. Man even playing on easy is tough!

Slowly making my way through this game. I think I’m kinda close to the end because I’m at Neverland, although I know there are still side quests to do and what not.

Even though I knew the Little Mermaid World was optional, I decided to do it... and man was Ursula hard (both fights!). Also I hated the swimming controls but I applaud them for trying something different. I wish Sebastian got more screentime besides just a couple lines here and there because he’s my favorite. But alas.

My husband was watching me play the game and said he finds the controls really frustrating. I mean he’s not wrong, but I’m sticking to it because... heck I’ve come this far. I’ve heard bad things about the final boss though so we’ll see if I make it to the end END. Ursula was really hard and I was playing on Easy!!

After hearing that KH games are coming to Switch.... as cloud versions, I bought the All-In-One collection on Amazon in protest!! I started with this game because ... why not? I forgot how much Square fanservice was in these games.

It's been a long time since I've played KH, and I didn't get that far. I'm about 6 hours in and I'm pretty sure I got farther than I ever did the first two times. I've made it to the Tarzan area and I just beat the boss before shutting down for the night. Also the GUMMI ship is kinda lame and also kinda complicated, so hopefully it's okay if I just ignore it.

I'm playing this game on Easy, but it's still pretty dang hard in some points. Easy doesn't save you from the annoying platforming elements, like jumping on these damn hippos! I almost gave up and just watched a Let's Play... but I'm not at that point.... just yet.
