Beat in slow motion mode. This was a fun beat em up with simple moves; 1 button to punch, 1 to kick and press both to jump kick. Kick was generally better due to reach, but punch was faster and thus better if the enemy was in range. Each level had background rooms that would reward a power up after beating a tough fight, which could be healing, brass knuckles or armor. Armor made him immune to projectiles while the knuckles significantly boosted punch. It was usually better to punch with brass than to kick though having to get closer sometimes resulted in getting hurt. In particular the basic green enemies seemed to be better kicked. The gun was awesome because each bullet killed in 1 hit regardless of how many melee hits they could take. Rifle butting was slower than punching though and somewhat of a liability. I liked the vehicle bosses where it was about taking grenades from the generic enemies to throw, though the throwing was automatic with no way to hurt the men. The shotgun boss was annoying because he moved faster and used 1 hit kill grenades. This was the only time where I found jump kicks useful to close distance faster. He repeated a few times and it was too bad the other easier bosses did not repeat because I barely remember them from only 1 fight. The final boss sucked and was a brutal slog of save state scumming. It seemed like the only way I could hit him was to punch from slightly lower after he jumped. Every other time he was too fast and got 1st strike, and he hit ridiculously hard. Walkthrough said to kick him as he landed from a jump, which was not all that different from what I did. It was not a fun fight and somewhat spoiled the entire game which was otherwise quite fun.
