My favourite theme park builder game with a bunch of different coaster types, scenery items and land-shaping tools to let you build your own dream park, all you have to bring is your creativity. I usually build in Sandbox mode when I get the mood, because that's where you can build the biggest coasters the world has ever seen, although it's a bit tricky to increase the maximal map size, so your 1 gigantical coaster won't take up 1/4-th of the park and you might have to use the max height limit increaser cheat code.

The campaign is mediocre in my opinion with repetitive tasks and the game has an outdated UI, but the magic of the sandbox building is what brings me back over and over again.

The game also has 2 DLCs, the Soaked! is awesome, it let's you build pools systems with extreme slides, and you can also add some animals to your park, thanks to the Wild! expansion.

Overall, I'm just happy this game didn't fade away with time and got a Complete Edition where you can enjoy everything it has to offer!

Timeless classic.

Even if RCT3 hasn’t aged as gracefully as its predecessors, there’s plenty of fun to be had. If you still have the original and can run it fine, you don’t need to buy it again. But if you’re someone who never got to play it, can’t run Planet Coaster, and miss the old school approach to the Tycoon genre, the …

Even if RCT3 hasn’t aged as gracefully as its predecessors, there’s plenty of fun to be had. If you still have the original and can run it fine, you don’t need to buy it again. But if you’re someone who never got to play it, can’t run Planet Coaster, and miss the old school approach to the Tycoon genre, the Complete Edition is a neat relic to a bygone era of gaming. Just be prepared for some outdated features and a shockingly small UI.

Clunky And Dated

Intro

In RCT3 you build an amusement park -including paths, rides, shops, scenery- and hire people to keep it running. Mostly you're staring at other people having fun.

Aged Poorly

Aged Poorly

Yeah, so this came out in 2004 and while it ran without a hitch in Windows 10 it does have some serious problems. For one thing, it has horrible mouse sensitivity that can't be reduced in-game. I had to use G Hub to reduce sensitivity from 6000 to 1000 to be able to actually click on the tiny buttons. And they're tiny. Even reducing the resolution to 1280x720 barely helped. This doesn't exactly make the game look more appealing either.

It Works, I Guess

The actual gameplay seems alright. Various modes to play, a ton of different things to build and the option to design your own rollercoaster then ride it. Plus you can tweak every little detail like food prices.

Conclusion

These type of simulators tend to improve with each iteration (although RCT4 is apparently really bad). These really old versions just become redundant. You're probably better off trying Planet Coaster instead.

Ero particolarmente attratta dall'ambientazione in un parco divertimenti e devo dire che il gioco non ha deluso le mie aspettative: divertente ma accurato e pieno di variabili.

Non resterà negli annali, ma è molto godibile
