Barony is a 3D, first-person roguelike that brings back the cryptic and intricate designs of classic roguelikes such as Nethack and melds them with RPGs like Ultima Underworld, System Shock, and Daggerfall. Challenge is the calling card of this hard-boiled dungeon-crawler.

Thou, if you do, then I welcome you to the long answer.

I'm a fan of classic type rouglikes from when I can remember. I played many types of them from Nethack, throw Angband (or Zangband), Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead and many, many more.

But, I had a problem with all of them. In all cases, you couldn't play with someone else. Which was frustrating for me, because I wanted to share my joys with all my friends.

This game gave my this opportunity and you need to know, that playing it together with my friends or family, gave us so much fun, that I can't describe.

(Later, I will analyze certain components of this game.)

Don't bother!

Game is filled with unfair deaths and feel incomplete. It could potentially be a good game if the developers would add content to it, but that is not gonna happen.

The Opposite Of My Thing

This is a rogue-like, hardcore dungeon-crawler with Minecraft graphics and instakill traps. And i don't like any of those things, let alone a combination of them. But i can tell it's not trash and if you like banging your head on a rock over and over again until it breaks, go right ahead.
