I'd never played 999 before, so it was good to finally play it. It was shorter and simpler than expected, but the puzzles, story, and graphics were enjoyable. I've played VLR before, so while I still enjoyed the story, I already knew the plot twists. I didn't remember most of the puzzles, however, & I had to seek help for a couple of them.
