Unfortunately, Catheter gets word of your plans, and mixes up a whole new batch of vicious gremlins. As a result, your mission is now one of destruction and avoidance. Elite's implementation of this is a five-level side-view action game, in which you run around avoiding or shooting the gremlins. Each level has a secret object which must be collected. Bonus items such as extra lives and time can be collected, as can improved weapons, and credits to spend on a new weapon after each level. Read less

Preliminary: Great Sound and Look, has a really cute and advanced Feel to the Look that is hard to describe like even the font of the Stage 1-2 etc screen feels like an SNES game to me, but the Play is already feeling quite tedious. It's been a VERY long day, and I am very frustrated with my grad classes right now, but I think the Play would be tedious and meh no matter what. I'm already at 2-1 though, and apparently it only goes to 5-2? So that seems doable.

Yeah, nah on 2-2 that annoying old issue of having to move in the direction that you want to shoot was exploited by the level designers with a really annoying need to do a diagonal shot toward an enemy that can shoot honing missiles at you, but the platform you're on is super small. If only it were easier to just shoot in the needed direction without falling off the platform. I was going to give this a second chance tomorrow but meh, not with that type stuff.

Surprisingly fun for a movie license game, It has some pretty sweet music too, especially the boss theme.
