ETT is a sim game in which you play a family of traders in a fantasy version of China. You manage carts and good, hire guards, travel on the map, et cetera. It's kinda like the earliest versions of Mount & Blade in which most cities where just menus. Except you can only travel along set paths. And there's nothing outside of trading.
Almost all of the game is just numbers going up. The worst part is you don't really "build" anything. You don't see your trade empire on the map. You can't construct anything. There's almost no personalisation. It's just a bunch of menu's, really. It isn't bad or anything, it just seems kinda pointless.
