I'm a bit worried about this Chicken arcade minigame, at first I thought it was a cute optional addition but found out it's required and infamously frustrating. Also read that there are lots of cheap deaths. Lord knows that's my least favorite part of adventure games so we shall see.
This is by far the best Space Quest so far. And quite beautiful. It keeps reminding me of the upcoming Pajama Sam etc era that I so love. It still feels quite sluggish and tedious compared to its contemporary console games, but I'm pushing through

It definitely is having too many "action" parts for an early PC graphic adventure game. Those never translate well. How did I die just from slipping off a tiny ship lol
Even tho I pushed through that first death, after the second death, the walk's slow pace and the general sluggishness compared to its contemporary action-adventures became too apparent. Time to move on, but by far the best of the SQs so far imo. I look forward to seeing how they continue to improve.
