Loving the demon acution feature and saving mid battle is a godsend.

I gave up on SMT DS Overclocked today. Probably my least enjoyable experience with an SMT game so far. That made me sad.

The classic feel is still there. Morality themes, cool demons, press turn combat, fusions and sense of reward. But I just couldn't do it. I hated the soundtrack, characters, insufferable aimless branching routes, balance issues, need for …

I gave up on SMT DS Overclocked today. Probably my least enjoyable experience with an SMT game so far. That made me sad.

The classic feel is still there. Morality themes, cool demons, press turn combat, fusions and sense of reward. But I just couldn't do it. I hated the soundtrack, characters, insufferable aimless branching routes, balance issues, need for grind, the obnoxious bosses and the VERY specific strategies you need to come up to advance.

After 50 hours, at the final boss of a path I didn't really want to be on and wasn't enjoying, I didn't see the reason to grind for macca, get the right demons and then MAYBE find the right strategy to finish it.

That's my 2nd strategy RPG dropped this year. Maybe I just suck at the genre? I don't know, I just hate giving up on things after spending a while with it. Games, books, series, any activity... I just wish I wasn't like that.

This is the first SMT that i've tried and i'm dropping it after maybe 15-20 hours. Started playing it 7 months ago and i've been kicking it around, waiting to see if i randomly feel like picking it back up and it never happened. This is the first SMT that i've tried and i'm dropping it after maybe 15-20 hours. Started playing it 7 months ago and i've been kicking it around, waiting to see if i randomly feel like picking it back up and it never happened. The story is amazing but gameplay just feels like a chore to me, i really wish this was a visual novel so i'm just gonna uninstall it and watch the cutscenes on youtube.

Just reached day 5 and the game really opened up. There are a lot of ways I could spend my time, and I can see a lot of potential for replays. I like the story + characters so far, even if the voice acting is cheesy and a little annoying (you can turn it off if it becomes an issue.)

Beldr kicking my ass on Day 3. Tough, addictive, and with lots of meaningful tactical options. Tactics games like this and Final Fantasy Tactics have reignited a love of JRPG franchises (which I previously swore off because of the shallow, repetitive battles that felt like a waste of time). What are the best games of this type?

I was stuck at Belial and got so mad that I didn't play for months. Finally picked up the game and managed to beat him, only to get stuck just moments later at Jezebel. I feel utterly desperate. I really like the game and want to finish it, but it's killing me.
