Yahho (or 'Yahoo' I think) is a pleasant surprise. It's one of the few Saturn games that I've played that really holds its own (I'd even call it good!) It looks and sounds great, has cool video effects, and it feels exactly like an arcade game. (Disclaimer: I haven't played the original japanese arcade game, I also havent played the PSX version)

anyway This is an excellent shooting game. I didnt particularly enjoy the parodius games i've played or find them worthwhile but this was. worth noting is that compared to previous Twinbee's It offers new upgrade path mechanics. its very difficult. both Yahoo and the Detana on this version allow the player infinite continues. You can also change your 'charge up shot' in between continues.

Bad things: like all twinbees its a bit short. saturn is also not a very accessible platform. Tate mode would be nice, and there is an option to make the screen more 'vertical' but it makes things worse. (Whoops!)

The PSP version might be worth looking at. Its a frantic fast paced shooter tough for me to compare it to anything.
