This guy's got the best hoodie in a video game.enter image description here

And you know what we do to people with the fart hoodie?

Edit: ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? THEY GOT RID OF THEM IN KIWAMI 2. NO WONDER THE REMAKE IS INFERIOR. Glad I chose to play the PS2 version instead.

It's crazy that the development behind this game is short(10 month long development time) yet it manages to feel even more polished than the remake of its predecessor that came out 10 years later (which moreso sloppily took the foundation of 0), let alone, its predecessor. It's crazy that the development behind this game is short(10 month long development time) yet it manages to feel even more polished than the remake of its predecessor that came out 10 years later (which moreso sloppily took the foundation of 0), let alone, its predecessor. And also being larger in scale compared to 1 with a new area albiet smaller than Kamurocho.

So far, this is my favorite beat em' up combat to play with in the series (0, Kiwami, and currently 2) despite the slow heat build up. The basic combos feel so much faster, yet still feel punchier than the rush style in 0/Kiwami. I love the feel of the lock on here. I LOVE the turning attack quickly transitioning you into a rush combo and how you can perform it at any time in the combo.

And the story kicks off strong too. A year after the events of the first game, you can tell that the Tojo Clan is damaged here and how Kiryu still wants to make things right. It's a briskly paced game too.

Also a man gave me 30,000 yen for winning a single prize from the crane game. God bless.

Liked this one loads better than Yakuza 1. I would even suggest people start with this game, and skip the 1st. But, with Kiwami coming to the English world this year, maybe the remake of 1 will supplant the actual first game. Liked this one loads better than Yakuza 1. I would even suggest people start with this game, and skip the 1st. But, with Kiwami coming to the English world this year, maybe the remake of 1 will supplant the actual first game. This one had a much more interesting story, no English VO (god bless), improved combat and many fun events backed with excellent writing/translation. Yakuza 2 is pretty fun!

Going through this series to explore a niche, long-running series and additionally prep for a visit to Japan this upcoming March!
