Do not play this game online if you are going into a boss fight. Do not play this game online if you are going into a boss fight. I have been disconnected from the server many times while playing, and the game will kick you back to the main menu when that happens if you're playing in online mode. I was in the middle of a stupid long boss fight when it happened to me today. Instead of still being in the middle of the fight when I jumped back in, it kicked me out of the fight and I had to start over. Not too happy about that.

Got to another frustrating boss that I had to finally give up on last night after about the 10th try. This boss really highlights the downfalls of the camera work in this game. He's really big, and you can get jammed in a corner where you can't dodge out because you can't see where the hell you are. It's super …

The Forbidden Forest is finished. It wasn't exactly my favorite level, but it wasn't as terrible as I'd heard. The snake monsters can eat it. I'm surprised how easy the bosses have been ever since I had so much trouble with Father G. I'm not sure if I'm better, or if the game is just easier.

I'm glad I didn't give up on this game when I was struggling so much with Father G. I really love this game and its combat now. It has a nice little pattern of grind a bit, figure out what to do next, beat a boss. This Souls game is interesting to me in that the figuring out where you're …

I'm glad I didn't give up on this game when I was struggling so much with Father G. I really love this game and its combat now. It has a nice little pattern of grind a bit, figure out what to do next, beat a boss. This Souls game is interesting to me in that the figuring out where you're supposed to be next is almost more satisfying than beating a boss. Ever Since Father G. I haven't struggled with any of the bosses.

In the midst of a bunch of wedding stuff this weekend, I got in a few more hours of Bloodborne. I'm actually making good progress and dying a whole lot less. I took down the blood starved beast on my first try when I accidentally ended up in his room. I guess I'm no longer the worst at this game.

I told myself last night I would try one more time to make some progress, and not only did I beat one boss, but two! Father G and the Cleric Beast are toast. The Cleric Beast was a cakewalk really. Maybe I'll actually keep playing :)

I still suck at this game. I can't beat Father G. I've tried like 20 times. I think I'm missing something. I know the "trick" of his second form, but I still die. I think I've missed a boss that would help level me up a little bit.

I am so bad at the combat in this game. I've tried fighting the first boss several times now, and I only just got him to the point where I actually thought I had a chance. To some extent, I have to get the shield mentality of the Souls games out of my head. This game wants you to learn …

To some extent, I have to get the shield mentality of the Souls games out of my head. This game wants you to learn to parry and backstab and get the hell out of the way. That's not the way I'm used to playing.
