Preliminary: The first one surprised me for a GB game so hopefully this one does too. It seems it's just rehashing the prior one's basic platforming aspects, and the good-for-GB Look may not hold up as well the second time around for me.

As much as it's playing just pretty much like a brawler-platformer so far, and very simply so, things like the cool voices for a GB game, the surprisingly fast and well-done controls, and screens like this pause screen (and the tune during it) are helping enter image description here

I see how I wound up playing through the first one, with it never surpassing a 3 star but fun simple platformer.

Well it was getting really dull with how repetitive these enemies were and the designs of when they appear/what they do really repetitive. I wanted to at least make it to the first boss, but I really burned out on the 3rd of the same manhole throwing enemy in the second "section" (up in the city). By no means a bad game, and still particularly good for the GB, but might as well just replay the first one if I feel the need for this.
