I’m finally am able to play this game and I’m extremely excited for this. Platinum really hasn’t disappoint me when comes to their games. I even really enjoyed their take on transformers. Let’s see how they do with a shooter.

Game completed with one achievement short of completion on Xbox 360 - Just can't make it past challenge 6, gave up!

Great game, a hell of a shooter, Platinum Games never drops the ball, if there's a remaster in the works, I'm in!

Thought I'd fire this up and see what it's like. Not bad for a bit of mindless fun even if that first boss seemed unnecessarily long af.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK one-hit kills. They are the absolute fucking worst and can single-handedly ruin and otherwise excellent game.

Interesting. I couldn't get past the intro training section. I just wasn't into it. This video makes me rethink my original assesment:

Thoughts so far: I’ve been really busy lately, so have only been able to play in short bursts. It’s an exhilarating game to play. So fast and fun that I don’t want it to end. The controls are a little touchy and the environments so far have been very repetitive. I don’t even know what is happening in the story. These are just minor quibbles for me. Zipping around the battlefield, melee-attacking bigass robots is so much damn fun. I have been on the fence regarding buying a Wii U, but knowing Platinum has several exclusives on it (hell, I still haven’t played Bayonetta) has convinced me that the purchase is inevitable.
