Firstly, I am really happy about how the collectable stars have been placed in this. It's much better than the base game. In the base game the stars were extremely irritating and borderline impossible to obtain, even with a walkthrough. For more than one of them you had to actually bug out the game and do wallhax to get to them. In Gehenna getting the stars isn't necessarily easy, but it's just difficult and required a bit of thinking, instead of doing stupid impossible platforming.
Another note; it turns out the sigils puzzles are part of the late game! Hooray.
Overall I'm very pleased with the puzzles/gameplay in Gehenna; it's actually much better than the base game in that respect. Unfortunately the story sucks. I hardly care for the squabbles and nonsense of the characters and I find myself skipping through a lot of it.
