Playing this with mods on PC, and its been a really enjoyable experience.

One thing that does kind of wear on me is the dungeon design though. I think one thing that Persona 5 Royal did better was the more refined, non-randomized dungeons.

While I like the progression system in theory, the fact that all dungeons are long corridors with different wallpaper is making the "jrpg" part of the game just a drag. I feel like I'd enjoy this game more as a VN.

Still, me liking more than half of the cast of an anime videogame is rare, so I'll finish it. …

PS: Sure not a fan of the fatphobic and homophobic jokes (Yosuke can die in a fire)

I've managed about 1.5 hours on this in the past few days because..

I'm sick, again. Covid in August, sinus infection in October, and I'm pretty sure this is another sinus infection. (Can't get into the clinic until tomorrow morning.) I feel like absolute garbage.

I'm sick, again. Covid in August, sinus infection in October, and I'm pretty sure this is another sinus infection. (Can't get into the clinic until tomorrow morning.) I feel like absolute garbage.

One thing this can prove is the Vita's standby battery life, though. Thing is still at full battery after like three days because I'm never at a save point when I play for a bit and then get too exhausted to be upright.

I've only experienced one fight so far, but I like the humor, the mystery, the characters, etc. The body animations are really well-done. I feel like they're pretty stiff even in newer JRPGs, so it's pretty impressive here.

Finally got the true ending in Persona 4 Golden!! The absolute feels that came after having to say goodbye to all the friends I made there. I will leave a review sometime later, maybe after I go again for the Plat lol. Yes there are some nitpicks i do have but all in all it is a good worth playing.

Continued from a save prior to the time I got the bad end, and working on getting the Good End now! Beat the final boss, so just enjoying the social aspects.

Going to refrain from giving a review yet but I finished and obtained one of the bad endings. A bit unsatisfactory this ending, as we do not know who is to be convicted, but definitely going to go through the other endings!

a 70+ hour rpg on my pc that's from a franchise I'm burnt out on. Why wouldn't I want to play it immediately? Yeah, this one's not gonna happen soon.

Started this tonight. My first RPG in quite a while, due to life being way too busy for something as deep an investment as a JRPG... So I started it anyways despite being in my last semester and starting a new job this week. This is also my first dive into the Persona series. I have high hopes!

After having played the original so many years ago. I have to say that this game running in 4K and at more than 60 fps is really weird. Some of the game is amazing to behold. Other parts are strange or seemingly out of place. But the moment to moment gameplay and the story definitely still hold up. With some exceptions of course. I STILL love the game. I would suggest that anyone who liked the game way back when give it a try on Steam. At the very least it will recolor your nostalgia. Or it will make you want to spend another 40 hours playing this iteration.

Time to replay what is probably my favourite RPG ever on Steam. Can't wait to head back to Inaba.
