It's been long enough and I think somebody has to say it.

Not only is 7.8 a really good score, but "Too much water" is a valid critiscism of the game's repetitive environments and overall structure. IGN did nothing wrong.

This is probably the pokemon game that I spent the longest playing. There was so much to do and it really brought the Hoenn region to life. The visuals are great and I LOVED the map on the bottom screen showing which pokemon were on each route, it made completing the dex so much easier.

I beat the main game and post-game and that's all I wanted from this game. No way am I going to "catch 'em all".

As always in these games, there is a lot to do, after completed the main game as do post game content, catching Legendary Pokemons or catching the various megastones that exist. In this version I was able to catch all most of the legendary Pokemon which I loved to do. Undoubtedly a lovely experience.

I haven't played any pokemon games since silver on the gbc back in the day and going into this one as an adult I really wasn't expecting much of it but I just finished it (became the champion) and holy sh*t ORAS is amazing. It really blew my mind how the same formula from years ago can still feel fresh. I'm playing the delta chapter right now and will catch every single legendary on my version and probably continue with sun/moon afterwards. Thank you Game Freak, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company for this nostalgic roller coaster of a game and great job.

Well, I think I'm finally mostly retiring Omega Ruby. I'll probably still pick it up and do some of the online competitions though, so I'm leaving it on my playing shelf. :)

I finally got the last TM I needed to complete my set in Omega Ruby yesterday. Man... waiting for those mirage spots to pop up sucks!

I finished off getting all of the legendaries in Omega Ruby over the weekend. Wow are there a TON in this game. I now have duplicates of so many given previous games.

Now to get all of the TMs and Mega Stones. Still working toward 100% on this one. Anyone have a Yveltal?
