LEGO Horizon Adventures is an action-adventure game developed by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo, blending the Horizon series setting with LEGO-style visuals and humour. Players follow a retelling of Aloy’s story as she travels across a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by machine creatures. Gameplay includes exploration, combat, puzzle-solving, and cooperative play.

very pretty, but that's about all

I got a few hours in and am shelving this as a no-go.

The game is super pretty...the world really does look great in Lego, and it's fitting breaking pieces off of the mech-dinosaurs.

Machine dinosaurs without teeth

If you, like me, are fans of the Horizon games and expect something in the line of the LEGO Batman or Lego Star Wars game, you will be very dissapointed. This is a small linear game with repetitive levels and an extremely simplified storyline. If you, like me, are fans of the Horizon games and expect something in the line of the LEGO Batman or Lego Star Wars game, you will be very dissapointed. This is a small linear game with repetitive levels and an extremely simplified storyline. There's also only four playable characters (you can use dozens of costumes, but that's still dissapointing) and very little exploration.

The world is really pretty and the machines made of Lego blocks look great. I also enjoyed combat a lot but that was because I played on some of the higher difficuly levels so it would be some challenge. You can read my full review in spanish here.

Its not a bad game. Its just a simple kids game made specifically for children so Sony can sell dinosaur machine toys
