We Were Here is a series of cooperative first-person puzzle games that began with this titular entry in 2017. There are currently five games in the series but only the first is free so it's a good place to start. Two players are required so grab a friend or foe.

You play as Antarctic explorers that become separated and stranded in a seemingly abandoned castle. By using your walkie-talkies (or Discord) to communicate with your partner, you'll work together to solve puzzles, avoid traps, and delve further into the fort in an effort to reunite and find a way out.

A single playthrough will last about 1-2 hours. The puzzles were enjoyable though some felt more frustrating than others. Considering this is a free experience, I didn't mind the lack of polish.

I would recommend this game to those looking for a mildly spooky cooperative experience that definitely requires teamwork and communication.

Eh...

These games are great for playing with your best friend or significant other. However, they are a play once and then done game, there really isn't a point in playing again because the puzzles are all the same. Some levels were every hard, my partner and I still haven't finished the Haunted Theatre section, and is much better played with a mouse (I didn't know the books could spin to see their covers until I borrowed my partner's mouse), but we both had a good time, and are now keen to play other, similar games together!

Buggy at times, and one puzzle sucked, but still quite enjoyable.

I was wondering if there's more games like "keep talking and nobody explodes" and this is kinda it.

Sometimes we had weird bugs and had to restart some bits.
The stage 4 of final puzzle had a solution we don't agree with (where the "king killed everyone" but you still need to have everyone on stage, wtf)

Despite that, still …

Despite that, still an enjoyable short co-op game, looking forward to play the sequels and see how it got better.
Oh, and the walkie-talkie system is a nice experient. Not being able to talk at the same time is... interesting.

We Were There

Short little room to room puzzler played in co-op. You have to work together and communicate via voice chat to solve puzzles and riddles. It looks good, atmosphere is there, but nothing special - and not really a story to speak of. It was fun to go for the platinum and apparently it's part of a series of games with …

Pequeña reseña.

Una escape room digital y gratuita. Frustrante y satisfactorio a partes iguales.

Divertido, puzzles estranhamente complexos e fáceis... Platina fácil

enter image description here

Quite fun concept, mostly well executed but relatively basic. I played We Were Here Together before this one, and they have polished the series quite a bit, so I would recommend the later games. Still worth a play with a friend though!

The game takes about 2 hours to complete and for its $0 price tag I'd definitely recommend playing it. The puzzles are fairly challenging, but each of them has a time limit before the both of you die so some people who go through puzzles and games in general slower may not enjoy that. However, I found the time limit to be ample enough for us.

Each of you take a different role in the game - either the explorer (who performs most of the puzzles) or the librarian (who guides the explorer through the puzzles - and as such there's replayability since you can play it again while playing as the other role.

This was a pretty nice game to play. We had fun. Although my friend and I got stuck at the trapdoor section for a while because we didn't think to press e on it. The puzzles weren't too hard either. I can't wait to play the second one!

Chato

Acho que zerei isso pq eu e meu amigo estávamos rindo tanto da chatice desse jogo que acabamos terminando subconscientemente.
