Interesting, but Short Co-op Concept with Great Execution
So, this game is short. Let's just get that out of the way. It's definitely too short for $10, BUT don't run away just yet!

First of all, this game may be too short, but it is a sequel to another game, We Were Here, which was released for free on Steam. If you don't know of it yet, go check that out and play it with a buddy, and enjoy all the puzzle goodness. If you loved it, then consider grabbing this game (maybe at a bit of a discount if it goes on sale) and support the devs.
This game concept deserves support, it's really well done. The puzzles are interesting and the idea of having players use hidden information on two ends to try to cooperatively solve a puzzle is really awesome. Also, seriously, don't use the in-game Walkie-Talkies, it's 2018, get Discord and be a respectable gamer, c'mon (seriously, at least right now, Discord is pretty much the best messenger around anyway, if you can't handle that, at least use Skype or Telegram or Facebook messenger's voice chat, there's plenty of options).
My recommendation, play We Were Here, play it again with the opposite roles. Then grab this game, play it one way blind (and then replay just the elevator section with the opposite outcome, if you want to grab all the achievements). Then, go through the game again with the opposite roles, and find the twelve switches to get the proper ending (and uncover the story of Castle Rock in the process, there's a really cool backstory hiding under the surface, take some time to investigate it, it'll add some value to the game, and on a second playthrough, you should be able to predict the spots where the Castle isn't trying to kill you and you can take a look around and learn about the story).
Because the first game was free, and the gameplay was a lot of fun, and pretty novel, I definitely felt like it was worth paying a little more than I would think this game is worth normally. These devs deserve support and hopefully, the sequel will be even more interesting.
