Cute and Surprisingly Deep

The post game in this is surprisingly tough and long. The actual campaign has a few areas that can get tough but mostly I didn’t have any trouble. The game can get repetitive but it’s a fun formula. This started the franchise and has now been remastered on Switch and is on Switch online. I’ve enjoyed it the 3 times …

Our Epic Review of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team

Rodrigo: I was a little scared to play this game because I thought it would be boring seeing as i'ts such different from the main series. However, it ended up being reaaally fun. Rodrigo: I was a little scared to play this game because I thought it would be boring seeing as i'ts such different from the main series. However, it ended up being reaaally fun. Recruiting new pokemon, discovering the IQ system, learning the strategies around playing these dungeon battles without more team members (which lana helped me a lot with) etc. Even grinding through the dungeons (a thing I thought would infuriatingly boring) ended up being really fun because I'd end up trying to recruit new pokemon! It was a really fun experience 8/10 Still upset I couldn't have been Torchic :(((

Lana: I grew up playing this game so it was awesome watching a total noob (looking at you rodrigo) taking his first steps in a mystery dungeon game lol. Jokes aside, if you like dungeon crawlers and pokemon this should be right up your alley. Also, the story of this one is relatively short (not as good as the story of PMD explorers of sky) but still very touching and cute! Also cool that you can recruit basically any legendary! we tried getting kyogre but Rodrigo died like twice in the dungeon so we gave up lol

i played this one after explorers of time/darkness and i appreciate it being the First One in the series, and its definitely still pretty good, but it never quite lived up to the hype of its sequels

Not sure what that means, maybe I'm just too tired to wait for anything besides AC New Horizons and SMT V :X

My favorite of the Dungeon spin-offs

I played this game like 5 times all the way through. I was obsessed. From the compelling story to the great world-building. I loved the relationships between the Pokemon in the team and the adventures set in their own world with no humans. The dungeons were imaginative and had a wide variety of environments and enemies. I played this game like 5 times all the way through. I was obsessed. From the compelling story to the great world-building. I loved the relationships between the Pokemon in the team and the adventures set in their own world with no humans. The dungeons were imaginative and had a wide variety of environments and enemies. When facing a boss it felt big and important. A really fun spin-off that still manages to feel like Pokemon while reworking the main RPG framework of the main series games. enter image description here
