Rodrigo: I was a little scared to play this game because I thought it would be boring seeing as i'ts such different from the main series. However, it ended up being reaaally fun. Recruiting new pokemon, discovering the IQ system, learning the strategies around playing these dungeon battles without more team members (which lana helped me a lot with) etc. Even grinding through the dungeons (a thing I thought would infuriatingly boring) ended up being really fun because I'd end up trying to recruit new pokemon! It was a really fun experience 8/10 Still upset I couldn't have been Torchic :(((
Lana: I grew up playing this game so it was awesome watching a total noob (looking at you rodrigo) taking his first steps in a mystery dungeon game lol. Jokes aside, if you like dungeon crawlers and pokemon this should be right up your alley. Also, the story of this one is relatively short (not as good as the story of PMD explorers of sky) but still very touching and cute! Also cool that you can recruit basically any legendary! we tried getting kyogre but Rodrigo died like twice in the dungeon so we gave up lol
