I love the game so far. The graphics are a little weird in places but so far. I'm about 3 hours in and it is enjoyable like most pokemon games are.

This looks fun, based on reviews that I watched today. Seems like a totally fine new direction for the main series that may be enough to bring me back in. Definitely seriously considering picking it up this weekend or some other time in the near future.

This looks fun, based on reviews that I watched today. Seems like a totally fine new direction for the main series that may be enough to bring me back in. Definitely seriously considering picking it up this weekend or some other time in the near future.
Like Pokémon Legends Arceus its presentation also appears to be a bit of a technical mess at points, and to have a world that looks… less than stellar. It seems that Game Freak lacks the expertise, and more importantly the budget and time to make great-looking 3D games on the Switch.
Makes me imagine a world where they aren’t pressured to move into 3D at all and could just make a really nice-looking modern 2D game with these new game design ideas. This is not enough to turn me away from a fun-looking game, but it’s a shame to see this franchise pumping out releases in such a state.

Still haven't picked which version I'm going to order out of the two, and it's giving me anxiety this week. Hasn't been as clear cut of a choice for me as in the last few generations, because I like both legendaries and the past/future themes pretty equally.

Just some bonkers trades with @paycheck_stevens to celebrate Pokémon Day
