I went to replay this on PS5 and took way too long to realize they removed flipping cities via cultural influence in 6. That's my favorite way to play so I'm a bit disappointed. I'll probably come back to this eventually once my backlog is lower and I'm feeling like starting a holy war.

Played with all mods except for New Frontiers pass. Exceptional game with the addictive "just one more turn" quality to it. The new additions like natural disasters, diplomacy objectives and governors really mix things up compared to Civ V.
I honestly could keep playing but uninstalled the game because it was killing my time (in a satisfyingly bad way).

Will I want to play again when this finishes, not sure. It's a time sink. But I'm so glad this game "clicked" with me after a very confusing start.

I'm just gonna go on and say it: this game is great. I know it sucks how they seem to be trying to steal your money with some ridiculously overpriced DLC, and I know this installment in the series doesn't improve the previous one as much as many people hoped, myself included, but that doesn't stop me from having the time of my life playing this game.
Do I think it's flawless? Absolutely not. Did I expect a little more? Yes, maybe. Is it a good game? HELL YEAH!
