Ok, here's a tip. Start a calculator. Type "1". Hold the "0" key. Voilà, same exact experience as this game - without the grind.

Back on the grind, clicking and getting a dopamine hit like a pigeon in a BF Skinner experiment.

I was brought along on a field trip to meet the team behind Club Penguin at their secret headquarters. Club Penguin had recently been sent to The Graveyard, and they were proudly getting this thing ready for release. I found it haunting how overtly meta it is, an example of the business boys withdrawing the veil and proving the validity in defining humans as consumers.

No one flinched, and the conversation fluidly interchanged between Club Pengiun and AdVenture C. They were genuinely proud of it.

Meanwhile, a lone little girl wearing virtual reality goggles was in a room with a high ceiling, 3 of the walls painted bright white, the 4th being glass.

I saw this was free on steam so gave it a go. Was curious to see if this had some business simulation design into it (which could lend itself nicely to a clicker.) It was overall fun but these games can wear thin depending on who you are or mood. The game features a second clicker game you can permanently access as well where you visit the moon, and there is a third where you can visit mars which i did not unlock. the game has the occasional special time event which are additional clicker games inside the game. One such event happened the weekend I played it and I found myself overwhelmed.

The mechanics arent too groundbreaking but one thing that is interesting is the angels. you can basically get some established wealth once you get going and restart to redeem a passive angel bonus which nets you more, faster. you can also redeem your angels for various rewards.

finally, the game will actually acrue as you stay logged off, so you can play this on occasion the way you would a browser game. (which i think it started out as)

But after one weekend i think i had my fix of clicks. YMMV.

For some mindless clicker fun I picked up Adventure Capitalist again. The music is catchy, graphics are goofy and there's a nice sense of humor.

I got it free on the PS store and really enjoying clicking away and hearing the cash register ding.

Took a stay-cation and played this for about 20 min. It's been a long time since I got back to it.

Man it's addictive!

This is my guilty pleasure. Theres something addictive about this game. Mostly its just watching your money pile up, saving to buy something, then do something else while your money keeps growing. Not bad for a free game.

Standard Incremental Clicker Game

I honestly wouldn't even call this one of the better ones I've played. For some reason, I've fallen into the draw of the clicker game genre. I honestly wouldn't even call this one of the better ones I've played. For some reason, I've fallen into the draw of the clicker game genre. I think it's because it's a mildly interesting diversion that really doesn't take much time. I set up what I need to do and then let it cook on its own for a while until I can complete the next few steps. It's easy. There's no real challenge to it, but there is the reward of seeing things upgrade and getting the badges and achievements. To be blunt, it is what it is, but there's not that much to it.
