It's good but I'd still go with Ninja Gaiden Black.
The reasoning behind this is simple, Sigma added content yes but for each piece it added it removed two. It removed puzzles, some cutscenes, changed some music, reworked a lot of the mechanics and removed a ton of hidden little weaknesses of bosses.

The reasoning behind this is simple, Sigma added content yes but for each piece it added it removed two. It removed puzzles, some cutscenes, changed some music, reworked a lot of the mechanics and removed a ton of hidden little weaknesses of bosses.
Sigma is the definition that quantity doesn't always trump quality. Black is just far more consistent of an experience. Also note that Sigma was a complete rework. So everything was made again from scratch. While this may sound good, the game was also a tad rushed which leads to some odd animations at times or things feeling strangely 'off'.
