Did anyone else order the physical copy from iam8bit?
If so, does your slipcover actually fit? Mine seems way too small for its case.

Cute, fun. Was not expecting the body horror and survival part of this?

I think I’m more than halfway done with the game and I can’t help but feel a little disappointed. Graphics are gorgeous and it’s so much fun playing as a cat - but I’m personally not too much into the pacing of the story. The actual gameplay is,,, not my thing.

Aside from some janky animations and awkward cuts to black here and there, the presentation and general art vibe of the game is good. I do like the music and sound effects as well. The gameplay and objectives are just okay, very simple, lots of fetching stuff (hey isn’t that supposed to be a dog thing? lol), and some annoying enemies. Jumps you’re basically selecting rather than actually aiming, which does feel pretty smooth at least. There are a bunch of cat-related little mechanics like scratching things, but I was kinda over it after a couple times. Generally it doesn’t even feel like you’re doing what a cat would do—there’s an odd disconnect between the gimmick and the bulk of the actual game. It’s certainly an accessible and “fine” experience, and I get why it trended, but not too sure about all the hype past that.

Apparently this is a big deal: Someone Beat Stray Without The Cute Cat Taking Any Damage.
I guess I should have recorded my speed run because I'd be internet famous now, lol.

Okay Sony, you finally convinced me. I upgraded to PS Plus Extra to get this game. The delta from my current subscription was the same cost of the entire game, and there were a few other items that seems like it would be worthwhile, such as the Ghosts of Tsushima DLC.

Stray is such a nice relaxing exploration game. I dig the world of robots and the ability to be a mishevious cat knocking stuff down as you carelessly jump around. Still early in the game having just acquired the
