Wow, the arcade version from 88 is so beautiful, and as someone who somewhat recently saw the film for the first time, it does an amazing job at capturing a lot of the irony in the store names, sounds in the voices and main tune, and the main robot characters. But it's just too insanely hard for me and a genre that I struggle to get into. I thought the phenomenal Look and Sound would get me to push through but already after the 2nd stage, I had had enough. (Turns out there are only 7 stages in total, so I probly could've pushed through but nah. I'd already begun abusing infinite coins on the 2nd stage....)
