Expanded Versions of Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist

Honestly couldn't bear to finish the campaigns past Zexal, which was hard enough for me (way too childish). Not because the game's difficulty is overbearing, but because the stories did not interest me and the card game itself became too crowded with the new summons. This tendency to meta-deck builds is something I hated while playing Duel Links and Master Duel and it's sad that it gets repeated here. I think that takes out all of the fun in playing a card game. Besides that, I think the card shop's animations could've been streamlined and not having bulk purchases is just plain dumb.
Heehee funni anti-meta Destiny Board deck forces AI to lag the game to shit, taking 2-3 minutes to process a turn, only to result in literally killing itself with Dark Sanctuary burn damage.
I love my Exodia strats to pieces, but this Destiny Board deck honestly freaking rules. It uses a number of cards to basically create 3 different win conditions (Destiny Board, burn damage, Curse/Dark Necrofear) all running simultaneously. You can shut down one, but the other two are still ticking away. :3

I know a few people on here are into Yu-Gi-Oh, and I gotta say... I think I'm back in. I dropped $100 on a deck I'm absolutely in love with last night, and while I think it might need some small changes to suit my play style down the road, I really like the synergy it has - and the sheer potential to piss off people who game the meta.
I present to you: Mystic Mine Exodia. The whole goal here is to completely shut down your opponent's ability to do anything while you kneecap their hand limit with Silent Wobby and have copious tools for drawing and countering. Life points don't matter, attack stats don't matter, I shut down the entire playing field while you watch me draw Exodia. Having tested a similar deck in the game (and I fucking LOVE this game by the way), I am confident it will generate rage forfeits.
Its biggest weakness is anything that forces me to discard (especially at random) or sends cards from my deck to my graveyard. So I am probably gonna have to find some kinda tool to recover cards from the GY to the hand/deck. I am also …

I am also worried about bottom-decking, so I may have to include Sangan or Witch of the Black Forest in my side deck as a contingency plan. 🧐

I started playing because of Yugi but then played GX for curiosity (and it was alright), then I played 5D (it was not bad), then played Zexal (and it was just plain annoying), then on Arc-V I didn't understand what was going on and used my own deck most of the time. I didn't even bother of the reverse duels and went straight to Vrains which I realised that there is no story to it. Even thought I never saw the anime past Yugi's, and the stories were shallow, probably, it added a nice touch. So I done with it, finished lol
