The game is loosely based on the Hundred Years' War between the Kingdoms of England and France in the 14th and 15th centuries. Just like the Kessen and Musou series from Koei, certain liberties are taken from the original history. For example, unlike what happened in real life, it is possible to save Joan of Arc from being burned at the stake. A expansion remake, entitled Bladestorm: Nightmare was released for consoles in Japan at the end of January, 2015 and in western regions a couple months later. It's done.

45 hours and 15 minutes.

One Hell of a grindfest. The final battle was a massive letdown.

But it is done.

Now onto the next title.

It's been around a week since I last played this. So might jump back into it as hopefully it will feel a little fresh again.

22 hours in and I still feel closer to the beginning than end. I'm starting to think Grindstorm has no ending.

Brought this on a whim from eBay and I was initially excited to play this after watching a trailer on YouTube.

However, having played about 15 hours now, it's starting to feel like a chore to continue further. Repetitive is an understatement. Although I wouldn't mind playing other titles that are similar.
