Managed to beat the 1st level with considerable save state scumming. Got a fair ways through the 2nd level until I ran out of time, causing me to lose a life and restart the level. Ok, I have only been putting up with the game this far to see if it could pull itself out of the toilet. No, it can't. One of the worst games I have played. Only a punch, kick and jump. No grabs, blocks, dodges, specials or weapons. Does not even feel like a beat em up; way too simplistic and unforgiving. I could beat the knife guys by kicking as they moved towards me or running up to punch them. The bat guys I lured to the other side of the screen and ran punched them to the other side. Once you get more than 1 enemy at a time the game becomes excessively tedious and difficult. You can try run punching back and forth but if enemies in the same direction are not lined up close enough to each other to all be hit by the same punch, then you will take damage. Jumping over enemies is the only way to deal with them if they are spread out a little bit, but it is extremely difficult to time anything to not get hurt. This game does not make me feel like an action hero. I guess the only thing else that can be said is that he does a bit better than a real person going unarmed against guys with weapons.
