It's a short game with a strong enough premise, but it's not very well designed. Early levels are nice, open areas, but it quickly devolves into very linear segments and dull puzzles. It's a short game with a strong enough premise, but it's not very well designed. Early levels are nice, open areas, but it quickly devolves into very linear segments and dull puzzles. The main gimmick of turning into an invisible blob when in shadow is too OP against the incompetent enemies and bad AI so even the relatively shallow skill tree was totally superfluous.
The story is also all over the place and feels disjointed, as if half the lines of dialogue got cut in the edit.
But if you're like me and enjoy sneaking around witless goons and overhearing their relatively amusing dialogue, you could do worse!
