I really want to like this game. The world is fantastic, the story seems interesting, and the roleplaying elements are strong... But I can't get over how cheap it feels. Consistently. The music is boring, the graphics are frankly terrible, and without voice acting or any audio "oomph," the experience is just a snooze fest.

If this game were just a narrative roleplaying sort of experience, like one where you could just explore, I could probably meander through it... But it's the glacially slow combat system that really kills it. I feel like playing the tabletop version would actually be faster.
Oh well. I impulse bought the trilogy because a video on the lore of the tabletop really sold me on Shadowrun as an idea, but the game version here--and I say this having tried both Returns and Dragonfall--is just woefully lacking. I feel like maybe fans might get a kick out of it? Very hard to recommend otherwise, unless you have an absurd amount of patience for jank.
Oh, and it has this consistent glitch where two music tracks will play at the same time for no reason. An assault on the ears.
