Could have been better
Pokédex 3D Pro has good looking models and animations. Elemental effects like water and fire look great. Moltres' flaming wings look better than any other 3DS game. Sometimes pokémon do attack animations that show a lot of depth when in 3D, like Lugia's power rings or Keldeo's water attack. Seviper almost appears to jump right out of the screen. It's …

Sometimes pokémon do attack animations that show a lot of depth when in 3D, like Lugia's power rings or Keldeo's water attack. Seviper almost appears to jump right out of the screen. It's just a shame this was never updated to include pokémon from X&Y or Sun&Moon. The advertisement of "now with every pokémon" was outdated just over a year after its release, pretty early in the 3DS lifespan. Either Nintendo/Gamefreak didn't want pokédex sales to compete with the main games, or it seemed pointless when the games themselves had a 3D pokédex.
