xxSAVAGOxx's review of Afrika

'Afrika' is a photography game, you play as a wildllife photographer who needs to accomplish photo missions. Basically, that is all there is to the game. Don't expect hunting, chases, killing or anything else. All you do is drive around and take photos. This might not be everybody's cup of tea, but I found it to be very relaxing and entertaining. The perfect way to wind down after a busy day in the office! Graphics are not top of the bill but not totally childish either.

I remember this title from early PS3 days and how impressive it looked. It tried to promote or sell the Sixaxis controls but I don't even remember using that. There's a bunch of camera options and lenses to choose from, and driving between locations looking for certain animals is fun and relaxing. Perfect game for your morning cup of coffee. I have 1000 hours in TheHunter and I love gameplay like this. No guns, no action, no killing - just photographing African wildlife. I'd love a remaster or more games like Afrika - with achievements/trophies would be splendid. I highly recommend going to AFRIKA.
