I've bounced off a previous Gunvolt game ( I don't remember which one) but this one stuck. Maybe its fast and flashy gameplay was easier to keep me hooked and progress was quick. This is nowhere near as hard as previous Inti Creates games like Megaman Zero, but there is challenge and reward. The sound and graphics are solid too. The protagonist is cool, the gang of kids he ends up hanging out with and the cast of enemies might as well be made of cardboard for how fleshed out their characters are.

But I had a good enough time that I want to try other games in the series again. So that's a good sign right?

And... I finished a game in 2024!

Beat the main story. Don't feel super compelled to master it like I did the mainline titles. Definitely feels like a spinoff but is still a lot of fun. Might revisit it later. Not a fan of the sexualization of children though that made me feel really icky.
