I don't know if I'm doing something wrong the game is forcing me to farm coins just to start the first level. What the hell, this is terrible game design.

I've just googled and, yes, the game is expecting you to grind. You need a plastic bag to enter the first dungeon. There are only 5 of them and the only one I can get right now based on available skills is in the shop, so the only way forward is to farm coin. Frustratingly, anither way is to pay to participate in a footrace that you cannot win without a future skill, but the game takes your coin anyway.

Fuck this.

A fun little game inspired by Zelda. This would have been more enjoyable if the dungeons had been a bit shorter and there had been instructions on how to use the various moves. I still had a lot of fun, but I had to look online to see how to collect and use the dynamite and get through a few of the difficult areas in the dungeons. I had more fun with Hey Ice King, Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?!!

Nope!

Three stars only because it is Adventure Time, but the game itself deserves one, two stars at most. Invest you time more wisely and play Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd you Steal our Garbage? It is cute and has great pixel art by Paul Robertson.

I don't know if I can take much more. This game is failing on all fronts. It is full of Adventure Time elements but fails at capturing the essence of the show. It is a Zelda clone, and a clone of arguably the best Zelda game ever made, but it fails at this also. It is clunky, imprecise and poorly designed. Sadly it doesnt even have a strong enough aesthetic to fall back on. The DS game Adventure Time Ice King Why'd You Steal Our Garbage was wonderfully designed with art by the talented Paul Robertson. There is nothing of that quality in The Nameless Kingdom sadly. I'm close to giving up on this game. My heart is just not in it.
