Probably the FF game I´ve enjoyed the less so far. However, I do think you should play it if you are JRPG enjoyer. As far as I know, this is the first FF with a more elaborate narrative and that wouldn´t surprise me, it´s kind of cheese, and the whole script is filled with tons of conveniences that the game assumes you are going to accept just like that. I think this is the first time ATB was included within the combat system, so as you can see, it´s mandatory to play it just because of how important it is
