Wow. The graphics and action in Uncharted 4 is waaaay of an upgrade from the previous installments of the series. Way to go Naughty dog!

Wow. Just incredible. I should have got a PS4 sooner just so I could play Uncharted 4. I have always loved Naughty Dog's games and Uncharted 4 has some of the best writing I have seen in games, or even in some movies.

Haven't finished it yet but look forward to just enjoying the ride.

Started Uncharted 4 with Heather watching over the weekend. Playing it and Zelda at the same time doesn't feel fair to the rest of games.

What a great game. The gameplay was mediocre, sure. But that's not what this game is about. It's about the story... but the narrative didn't blow me away either. They did a fantastic job and brought those characters to life.

Just finished Uncharted 4: A Thiefs End, it is really awesome! Best of what Naughty Dog could do with the ending of the Drakes series. Can't wait for the DLC, and I really hope there would be more stories from Naughty Dog. Especially I want to notice that there's awesome soundtrack in this game.

Five chapters in and I've already teared up like six times. I'm going to be gross sobbing by the end of this, aren't I.

Not as good as the third or the second, or maybe I've just grown tired of the shooting mechanism.
Alas, the story is easily worth 4 stars :)

Seriously disappointed with this game. I gave in to the hype and thought I'd give it a go, despite not having played the previous entries. For most of the game, it felt like I was playing a climbing simulator punctuated by intermittent bursts of half baked combat. Oh well on to another game.

I just finished my first playthrough and it was really, really good. The graphics are simply stunning and the game runs beyond smoothly, it's truly a technical marvel. Some of the chapters are among my favorites in any Uncharted games and the screenplay is actually much smarter than usual for the series. But in a way, the new smarts and the wisdom come at the cost of a third half where things slow down quite a bit and the pace is lost. I also feel like the game only had a couple of seriously over the top action sequences, and only one that rivals the crazy stuff that goes on in 2 and 3. On another note, the gameplay feels smoother than ever, the climbing feels organic and the enemy AI is vastly improved and makes for more compelling shoot-outs. I think Uncharted 2 is still the best overall game in the series, even though 4 refines pretty much everything and is a sight to behold. If the third act was as good as the rest, Uncharted 4 might be the new best game in the series. But I feel the same way I did about 3, while it did top 2 in many ways, it had a few lesser moments.

Having said all of that, I think they ended the series on an incredibly high note, and maybe when I replay Uncharted 2 at some point, I might feel like I'd rather be playing 4, we shall see.

While not as jaw-dropping in terms of action set pieces, the fantastic plot and characters make this a must-play, as well as a worthy send-off to one of modern gaming's most beloved franchises.
