Charming and fun
Glorkian Warrior is a shmup with cute graphics, weird enemies, amusing characters, bizarre bosses ("Glorpazorper") and deadly tetris blocks. It's relaxing and fun, doesn't force you to grind, and has a variety of enemy waves (12 per stage?) which ensures that no two games are the same. It's relaxing and fun, doesn't force you to grind, and has a variety of enemy waves (12 per stage?) which ensures that no two games are the same. Sometimes you try to get a highscore and fail, sometimes you go "just one more game" and do very well.
Just the fact alone that a game tagged "indie, shmup and retro" isn't a complete turd is a miracle in itself. It's 80 cents on sale right now, just buy it.
