I didn't think I would like the game going into it, but DontNod does their magic and I'm super invested in the characters. It's very mature, touches important subjects and feels realistic. Playing as two characters works out well, you get more perspective of their individual thoughts and it makes it easier to make decisions for them. I liked the memory and voice parts of the story, and I loved the book of goblins. Very fairytale-like. The problem with this game is that it's too short and has a very anticlimactic ending. I was expecting way more from the way its all setup. But it might be DontNod's way of saying that not everything has to be complicated.
It's June so this is free again:
Je ne sais pas si j'ai réussi à optimiser mon pc mais pour l'instant ça tourne très bien ! J'avais oublié que le doublage français était cool.
Allez on retente de finir Tell me why, même si il a la fâcheuse manie de mettre mon pc à genoux !
This is free for the month of June, just like last year:

Apart from its importance as a game representing issues faced by the trans community, I think it does a great job at storytelling. Sure, the story might be predictable and you can see the twists coming from a mile away, but it's still another very cute entry in the DONTNOD universe. They always manage to put the characters first, even if there's a fantastical aspect to the story. The superpowers usually just have an impact on a select few people, which is always a nice touch and makes them feel 'real.' I congratulate DONTNOD for never disappointing me when it comes to the heart and soul of its characters.
Still playing; thoughts so far: This feels more like a story that would have been better told as a book, or a movie or mini-series. That may have been better as we would've been able to go at our own pace (or a slightly more normal pace in movie/tv format). What I mostly dislike about Dontnod games is how excruciatingly slow it all is (how the characters move and interact). This is no different, except that so far, it doesn't have the same game element 'hook' as LiS (i.e. I don't think twin telepathy to uncover the truth behind their mom's death is in the same level as kids with unexplained destructive powers, and so far, all I've done is interact with the characters' surroundings and "remembered" stuff).

Full season/trilogy of episodes is free! Good for me, since I enjoyed the first complimentary act.
oh my god they put pilot bread in this game
my hopes for a reasonably accurate representation of Alaska just went up but like, in a confusing way

Interesting in matters of inclusion but quite boring and slow... It feels quite real (it could be perfectly a real world story) and it has some positive and interesting things, but in terms of mechanic or action, you need patience with this one. In the end, I liked the characters and how they were growing up while living again certain memories of the past with an adult mind/perspective. But... it could have been much better in my opinion if a little bit longer, maybe? When I was starting to feel connected to the characters, I was already getting at the end of the game.
