Finally finished, what a dang good time! Not sure why all the low scores for this.

There's a lot of substance to this. Lots of weapons, spells, enemies, levels. Moderately amusing dialogue, story is ridiculous but enjoyable.

I enjoyed this very much. Now onto more Vita brawlers.

Gave It A Second Try

First play through this I was not very impressed. Then there was something in the back of my head telling me to give it another shot. Maybe installing on my Vita helped me give it another go and actually play for an hour.

First play through this I was not very impressed. Then there was something in the back of my head telling me to give it another shot. Maybe installing on my Vita helped me give it another go and actually play for an hour.

For what it is (side scrolling RPG brawler), not much for story but probably wouldn't expect much in this genre, art is kinda strange but overall not bad, free on PS plus (or was). I had a lot of fun playing.

For positives:

1). Good amount of playable characters

2). Simple but still has substance

3). Weapons, spells, armor, leveling up, all that fun RPG jazz

4). Tagging out your guy for another character

5). Bailing out mid stage in case things go bad (I was pretty happy with this feature several times)

6). Funny dialogue at times

7). Cool bosses

8). Fun on a Vita

Negatives:

1). Can be tough to see what's going on with a bunch of enemies and good guys

2). Hit boxes are a little tough at times

3). Art is trying to be anime but overall not bad

As I said, another try was what I needed with this. It's a fun brawler with a lot going for it. Fans of this genre probably wouldn't be upset checking it out. For $15 it's not a complete ripoff, I got it free on PS Plus awhile ago but I would recommend waiting for a sale. $15 seems like a lot for it but then again I had fun with it. What I'm trying to say is check it out, maybe a demo first, then see if it's right for you. It's no Final Fight , Golden Axe, or Streets of Rage but still a good time.
