But overall it's got some charm. I like small details, like how you gotta hammer the sticks into the ground when building a makeshift camping tent or that you need to align the bottle properly when collecting water from a pot to not spill it.

Although I can clearly see that the Quest 3 version is quite butchered, compared to the original, but I still don't wanna bother with PCVR.

Playing Green Hell and I can't overstate how much fun I'm having. I'm playing on default settings except with a mod that makes time go twice as a slow, so I'm not having to rush through everything and I'm getting to enjoy exploration and dig into the story more. It's hard, unforgiving, and I love it.

I never thought survival gaming would be my cup of tea. Turns out that it might just be the perfect cup for me.

Most recently, I was collecting sticks in the forest near my cave base. I heard a low growl from the bushes in the distance. I became immediately gripped with panic. I slowly retreated into my cave, never taking my eyes out from in front of me. As I got further into the cave, I decided to make a break for it. That's when I heard the footsteps and the growl get closer and louder. I turned around and saw a flash of brown come at me, a puma going in for the kill.

I've played a lot of horror games, but I have never--never--had such a visceral reaction of pure primitive fear than in that moment. I yelped, I almost tossed the mouse off the desk, I lept back in my chair, my adrenaline SPIKED, hands shaking, mom's spaghetti, and it took damn near 20 minutes to come fully down from that scare. Holy shit, you guys.

Seems neat so far. Playing the Quest VR version and I like the atmosphere a lot. I've yet to enjoy survival/crafting mechanics though, in any game. I'll see how it goes.

This game is just insanely hard! I can't deal with it, it's annoying me but the game is still very solid! Maybe someday...i'll pick it up again with a friend for co-op.

Good game. I mainly played the story line, which kept me interested from the beginning until the end, although it was quite short. The first few times you will have a hard time and die quickly until you get the hang of all the mechanics.

The game offers little to no tools at your disposal so it is mainly trial and error or you can of course look online for help with crafting or finding the right antidotes.

After this steep learning curve it is relatively easy to keep yourself alive and the various dangers in the jungle are not really a problem anymore.

Playing co-op is necessary to keep the game interesting for a longer period after the story mode.
