On the surface this is just a quick funny seemingly cash grab game as even once you get used to the controls, it still sounds like the notes you are playing are out of tune almost constantly. If you stick with it, you'll notice a couple weird features or other bits in the game that may indicate there's more to this than just the LOLs. Without spoiling anything, there is indeed a progression and almost meta game hidden beneath the surface that takes getting better at the game and replaying it to unlock. It's nothing crazy deep, but at least gives the game some more replayability. There is a good amount of humor to the game, and even some(?) music history to be learned. Thankfully the devs are fully on board with modding the game to add custom tracks, visuals, and more which is where the fun really shines. Trying to use the wonky controls while poorly playing trumpet to songs you know will often have you laughing, making it even more difficult to perform the song "well". I think I have about 6 hours logged into the game, "completing" that hidden ending, and playing around with the custom songs for a bit. I only paid a few bucks for the game on sale and feel I got my money's worth.
